A Large Spring Pool

Purola's largest spring pool sits several meters up from Deadman's Creek, just below an ephemeral 'waterfall' in a streambed that diverts a part of the overflow from Purola Lake. It is quite round. This pool had never dried out before July 2009. Even after the water was not clearly visible, the mud at the bottom stayed moist for several months.
